I reviewed critically acclaimed JRPG Chained Echoes back in 2022, and developer Matthias Linda chose not to rest on his laurels over the past few years, releasing an update with features like New Game+ and starting to work on DLC for the game. Now the wait is almost over, with the Ashes of Elrant DLC set to come out on August 7th.

This DLC adds a new land to the game, with a storyline set before the final boss fight. Fight more than 40 new monsters – including bosses – as you explore the area. And if you need a break from fighting, you can check out the new fishing mini game and enjoy more than a dozen new music tracks. 🎶
