I’ve seen some of the games from Great Gretuski Studios before, and hoped that they’d make it to Switch at some point. They’ve become official Nintendo developers now, but they’ll need our help to make Switch ports happen.
Their Kickstarter campaign has already unlocked the Switch port for Love Spell and all of its DLC, but they still need just over $10,000 USD for Peachleaf Valley. Both games look great – I love the art style – so I sure hope we can unlock everything in the campaign.
Love Spell
Love Spell: Written in the Stars is described as a romantic comedy visual novel. Its heroine, Luna, doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life, and her love life isn’t going well, either. One day she saves an old woman, who rewards her with a magical book with the power to make someone fall in love with her until the next full moon.

Ignorant to the spell book’s purpose, Luna goes out drinking; suddenly, the book – and a pen – conveniently fall in her lap, and I think we can all figure out what must happen from there. 🤔 It kind of sounds like a romantic Death Note! 🤣

I’m intrigued by the concept and want to know what happens. Will the guys realize that they’ve been bewitched after the spell wears off? Do they actually fall in love with her based on their experiences under the spell? Enix, Marcello, and Sergio look the best to me at first glance. (I also adore Philia as a mascot!) I look forward to finding out the answers to my questions when the Switch port arrives!
Peachleaf Valley

Combining two of my favorite genres, Peachleaf Valley: Seeds of Love is an otome inspired by farming sims like Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, and Stardew Valley. Seraphina decides to leave the city and move to a magical valley.

I really like the look of this one, too. (Look at the adorable farm animals!) I really like how they included the valley’s 3 Great Spirits as love interests, and even a divorced love interest, which I don’t think we usually see.

I like the look/sound of Jude, Naadim, and Eden, and Duke also sounds interesting. I’m predicting Eden as my favorite. They also mention some wedding DLC on the Kickstarter page, which I’m really excited to see.
