Although 8-Bit Adventures 2 may be a sequel, players new to the series can still play it without having to play the original game (PC only) first. Said to have “everything you love about NES, SNES, and PS1-era RPGs,” the second entry in the series includes turn-based combat and “deep party customization” for the 7 playable characters in the game.

There aren’t any random battles, as enemies are visible on the map. You can explore the world map by land or by air, with airship travel giving you access to places you may not have been able to get to before on foot. (I always love airships in games!)

This should take players a “bit” to finish, with an estimated 30-40 hours of play time for the story, battles, and exploration. The 8-bit-inspired graphics sure give me a nostalgic feeling, and I’m always down for more turn-based RPGs.
