Thankfully, they helpfully give you image-based hints about what they want in exchange for parts to help you fix your boat. Once you give a frog the item they want, they’ll give you the next item you’ll need in the chain of trades. And while you run around the island, you can try to earn some funny achievements as well. Ambition: A Minuet in Power

The events of the French Revolution made Paris a difficult environment to navigate. Ambition: A Minuet in Power will allow you to get an idea of the tense sociopolitical atmosphere during those times. You’ll play as Yvette, who travels to Paris to meet with her fiancé only to find out that he’s gone missing. To survive, you’ll need to attend parties and gather gossip to sell to the newspaper for money. The information you uncover can be used to influence the different factions in Paris towards the Crown or the revolutionaries. And when you dress up and go to parties, you may even find yourself a new paramour! 😘 This visual novel (rated T!) comes out this Thursday, and be prepared for our review’s debut!

In the game, the king has summoned 30 people – yourself included – to help solve the kingdom’s problems. You’ve got one million coins to use as you please; start a business, buy land to cultivate, or go on adventures and defeat some monsters! Decide what you want to do to contribute to the kingdom in this action RPG/simulation combination!

I’ve been excited to see Long Live The Queen on Switch since I saw it featured in a Ratalaika Games video a while ago. You play as a princess whose mother has “met an untimely end” – meaning that that you will soon be crowned as Queen. Deal with your enemies (both foreign and domestic), manage your activities and skills, and try to survive in an environment full of treachery. 😱
Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions

I’ve lived in the same state and general area all my life. But in Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions, a shy little boy named Damien has moved all the way to Japan with his family, and naturally he has a hard time adjusting. Damien daydreams to cope with the changes in his life, and he becomes Captain Velvet Meteor in his imagination. As Captain Velvet Meteor, he teams up with some Jump+ heroes from Spy x Family, Monster #8, and more! Gameplay involves tactical battles with puzzle and stealth elements, and free-roaming exploration is another aspect of the game. Get ready for a “feel-good” story about finding yourself and adapting to changes in your life. I’m sure ready to “jump” in! 😉

Bear and Breakfast is another game I’ve been looking forward to for a while. Play as a bear named Hank who runs a bed and breakfast in the woods. Build and customize the rooms in your bed and breakfast, and get to know the guests that stay with you. There are different side quests for you to complete and secrets for you to discover, and I can’t wait to go into the woods to get started when the game comes out at the end of the month. 🐻
The following game, Lord Winklebottom Investigates, is not listed on the eShop yet from what I can see, but I love the giraffe wearing a monocle and top hat in this point and click game set in the 1920’s:
